On Death and Dying

There are a lot of books giving us guidance on death and dying, but every once in awhile death comes up close and personal to let you know, quite unequivocally, that you are not in control. Eventually, death comes to us all. This can be a “bad” thing, a confrontation fraught with resistance and anger; or a “good” thing, an experience of surrender to love.

Welcome to the Heart Room

I welcome you now, into the Heart Room.

Surrender your mind, and surrender your heart, to the love that is available, that is ever present in the Heart Room.

Allow the love. Accept the love. Open your mind to welcoming change with love. Open your heart to allowing love to guide you into change.

Love is expansive in the Heart Room. No exclusion. No tight circumscribed concept of what belongs, what does not belong, who deserves, who does not deserve, no constriction. Surrender to this love. Allow the love. Accept the love.

Home AgainO

I'm back home again, but having difficulty.

I created a blog entry, then tried to edit out two paragraphs. The entire entry went out.

Time out for the Heart Room. Time for a call to my technological guru.

All You Need is Love

Starting this blog has already introduced change in my life, certainly my mental life. I am technologically challenged in both skill and equipment, so I have to use my brain, at 69 a good exercise, even a discipline. Then there is the question of how to welcome a public forum into my private point of view. Past experience of humiliation has caused me to make poor decisions, so I know I am not immune to ridicule, nor always comfortable in the spot light. I've taken brave stands, but I know the consequences are not always pleasant.

Speechless with Joy

OK! Hey there Jeff, I followed your instructions and aha! I am creating a Blog entry with some confidence that you will be reading this soon. Still a stranger in a strange land, but oh joy, I'm exploring and having some success! I now see that I clicked on "preview", not "save", for my earlier comment. Hmmm, so what is preview? See you tomorrow. And if I want to get rid of this dribble in the future, can I?

Yep, just click on "edit" and then either delete, or edit and save. Got it! Still not sure about preview.

What are Dave and Suzi doing with this site?

Everybody, and I mean everybody, is wondering just what will Dave and/or Suzi do here. They are both very intelligent, well read, articulate, and all that good stuff so I'm thinking there will be some good things showing up here very soon.

But, when? That's the question.

Of course, they haven't yet learned how to use this fancy CMS system so that'll take a few minutes. And we need some fancy graphics and such to jazz it up a bit. But that will come with time and familiarity with the site configuration and selection of an appropriate theme.
